Heavy rains caused some major flooding issues for some of our local farms. Not only were crops lost, but there are also costs for cleanup and time lost in replanting, putting future sales even further away.

Let’s be there for our local farms during their tough times, so they can be for us in the future!

Even when the immediate crisis is over, it will take time to recover from expenses and lost revenue. Some of the local farms affected were: Gannon Organics, Swallowtail Pines and Billy’s Botanicals.

I’m sure there were other farms in the area affected by the heavy rains as well. As always, check on your local farmers! We can offer our moral support, buy products that are available, and in some cases donate time or services to help with these unexpected events.
