Get the entire year’s content in one printed edition of Southern Soil!
I often get asked why we don’t do printed copies of the magazine throughout the year and the answer is pretty simple. It’s very expensive! Even before the costs of paper and other materials went through the roof following COVID, printing the magazine on a regular bases would require a good deal of overhead expense which would have to be passed along to readers and advertisers.
Our mission is to promote and celebrate local food and the people, farms and businesses that make it possible. To this end, it’s imperative that our content always be FREE to our readers and that our advertising rates always be reasonable for our local businesses. These are two commitments that are essential to our core values.
This annual compilation edition allows us to make a printed copy available for those who want one while still keeping our overhead costs throughout the year as low as possible.
Your purchase of this issue not only gets you a beautiful publication that you’ll want to keep, but it also helps pay it forward by helping us continue to do our work of shining a light on the importance of a local food system that is based on sustainable and regenerative agriculture!
The cost this year is $35 per copy (and they must be pre-ordered by January 6, 2023).
